I downloaded Free Download Manager 3 and used it immediately. It is, in fact, averaging four to six times faster than downloads performed without it. It is not intrusive and is very straightforward in use. The only issue that I have- and this goes for all download managing software- is that it is not always a simple matter to actually provide the correct link on some downloads as the URL is essentially masked from you. I have yet to try downloading torrents with it. This program is outstanding, though. Thanks!

I peviously used FDM integrated with Firefox , as it eliminated the need to start again if the net connection dropped out . But recently I tarted to use Chrome which doesn't seem to have the the same ability to integrate with FDM , so I have gone back to Firefox . Which has solved my download problems

I love FDM, especially the feature that enables it to work with Firefox browser. When I right click the download(s) I just have to choose the option to download selected or single items, easy as Lemon meringue pie! I love pie...

Excellent

Tried free download manager for the first time as i was looking for an app which would be versatile enough to handle resuming downloads and also be able to download .torrent files. I tried some other software but was not totally satisfied. I found this application to be quite capable of handling my downloads, and the interface was quite self explanatory.Keep up the good work people.
